Our first actually sleeping in Rockstar was in April 2025 and we went to Hampshire to celebrate Popsie’s birthday.
We drove down to The Cams Mill in Fareham on Friday night and spent our first night sleeping in Rockstar in the pub car park.
The next day we had a wander around Fareham creek and then went to visit my friend Blodwen for a few hours before going to Holybourne for lunch.
Saturday night we slept on Uncle Kevins driveway and then on Sunday we popped in on Nanny & Grandad before driving over the Basingstoke to go Bowling with Chris, Jurgita & Emily.
Wellington Country Park
After bowling we checked into the Wellington Country Park Campsite. If you are staying on the campsite you are allowed access to the park after hours. This was just excellent as everyone had gone home, so all the playgrounds were empty and the wildlife was coming out to feast on all the dropped food.
You also get free access the next day so we enjoyed all that teh park had to offer including:
- miniature railway
- jumping pillows
- splashpark
- sand pit
- dinosaur walk
- adventure playgrounds
Brecon
After leaving Wellington country Park we headed for Brecon where we met up with Andy for one night in a carpark by the river. Then on the Monday we enjoyed a fried breakfast in a cafe in Brecon and had a wander around the Brecon Musuem and then found a park to burn off some energy and Abi completed the monkey bars for the very first time.
