Greenacres, Porthmadog 2025

We had a four night stay at the Greenacres Haven Park just outside Porthmadog in North Wales.

We went with our friends Alice, Betsan, Flo + Clara.

We went swimming every day and spent time doing arts & crafts in the caravans.

We also visited the arcades and the softplay. In the evenings we watched the kids entertainment.

On the Wednesday we went to Bounce Below at Zip World which is trampolining inside the caves. It was amazing as there were slides between the different levels of trampolines. There were lots of tunnels and passages to explore.

On our last evening we took a walk along the beach at Black Rock Sands and played in the dunes whilst the sunset.

On our drive home, we stopped for a walk around Llyn Trwsfynydd.

We walked around some of the reservouir and spotted some different fungi. We watched a man using a machine, a bit like a hoover to suck and pump all the water out of the boats which are for hire.

The Trawsfynydd nuclear power station opened in 1965 and was decommissioned in 1991.
