Portmeirion, Tywyn, Fairbourne 2025

Tywyn

After work on Friday night we returned to Tywyn but this time with two vans.

Saturday was spent having fun in the arcades, playing on the beach, riding our bikes and having taking Andy to visit the Narrow Gauge Railway Museum and watch the Talyllyn Steam Trains.

Barmouth

The next day we drove the vans up the coast to Fairbourne and wow what a drive that was. We left the vans in Fairbourne and cycled over the railway bridge into Barmouth.

Port Meirion

After enjoying more ice cream on the seafront that evening, we parted ways with Andy and continued north to Port Meirion where we were booked on to the campsite there. This gave us after access access to the village and allowed us use of the open air swimming pool the next day.

Welsh Legends Maze

On Monday we left Port Meirion and headed home with a very quick stop at Barmouth arcades before visiting the Welsh Legends Maze.

As the name suggests it’s a maze with lots of different scenes with buttons you can press to hear the different tales.
