I took a half day and we drove up to Barmouth after lunch on Friday. We drove the van to Fairbourne and parked up in the beach carpark. After a picnic tea we took a walk and I fell over in the tunnel of the miniature railway and hurt my knee quite badly.
After spending the night in the van we caught the normal train from Fairbourne to Barmouth and spent some time playing on the beach.

It wouldn’t be a trip to Fairbourne without a ride on the miniature steam railway.
