This was the first holiday that was just me and Abi. It was our fourth Haven holiday and we had a four night stay at the Burnham-on-Sea site.
We took the steam train from Bishops Lydeard to Minehead and back. It’s a 23 mile journey that takes just under 1.5 hours each way.
We had a few hours to explore Minehead during which time Abi had great fun dancing on the seafront to the buskers and we enjoyed ice cream and playing on the beach.
At this time, Abi was a huge fan of Thomas the Tank Engine so we bought a set of Thomas jigsaws from the shop to do on the journey home.
