On Thursday 6th November 2004 we flew to Lanzarote and had a week in a villa with a private pool in Playa Blanca.
On Friday we explored Playa Blanca and made use of our hire car by visiting Puerto del Carmen in the evening.
The Montañas del Fuego
On Saturday we drove to The Montañas del Fuego (translates to The Mountains of Fire). We did the bus tour and it was like we had landed on another planet. We watched the geizers and saw the chefs cooking the meat using the volcano’s own heat.
Papagayo beaches
We walked around Papagayo beaches on Sunday. Monday was spent chilling at the villa.
Guinate Tropical Park
On Tuesday we visited Guinate Tropical Park and watched the parrot show twice.
We had one more relaxing day at the villa. Then on Thursday Andy managed to squeeze in a few laps at the Go Kart track by the airport before we flew home.
