Newcastle Emyln is one of our nearest towns. It is a traditional Welsh town which still holds a weekly cattle market. It is on the River Teifi and has castle ruins.

Victorian Night 2025
Every November they host an annual Victorian Night which is always very well subscribed. Most of the shops stay open late into the evening and offer free glasses of mulled wine, mince pies and chocolates. There are carol singers by the castle and usually the fire brigade bring along a fire engine to show the children.
