A friend from work owned a villa in Kissimmee, Orlando so we took a two week trip.
It very nearly turned into a much longer trip as we were away during the infamous Icelandic Ash Cloud disaster which closed all European airspace for 8 days causing a huge backlog of flights. Thankfully, our return flight was one of the very first flights back into Heathrow, which was like a ghost town….an early preview of Covid lockdown.
We hired a Mustang and borrow some bikes from the man who looked after the rental.
