On the longest day of the year we set alarms for sunrise and headed to Gatwick airport with a day bag. We agreed if the flight was delayed we’d have a day in London but everything worked out and we found ourselves in St. Marks Square by 10:30am.
We spent the day exploring Venice then then headed back to the airport about 6:30pm and arrived back home about midnight. What a day.
